CROP Innovation & Business (CropIB), 16-18 April 2023, Amsterdam
Crop innovation in a changing environment:
accelerated implementation of breakthrough AgBio innovations
Registration is now open for the international CROP Innovation & Business (CropIB) conference, which will take place on April 16-18, 2023 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
CropIB, initiated by KeyGene more than twenty years ago, will again bring together 200 R&D managers, CEOs and CSOs of breeding companies, academics, agri-tech providers, and other experts from the international agri-food community to discuss innovation and solutions for the challenges in agriculture.
New technologies and possibilities in fields like artificial intelligence, phenotyping, robotics, genotyping, and data science that will contribute to the development of new resilient-, protein-, health-beneficial- and sustainable crops will be discussed.
Thanks to the co-organization by KeyGene, VIB in Belgium, and the Cluster of Excellence on Plant Sciences in Germany, CropIB 2023 will also contribute to stimulating partnerships by connecting the industry to world-class academic networks such as in Wageningen (the Netherlands), Ghent (Belgium) and Cologne/Düsseldorf (Germany).
Topics during CropIB 2023
- Which breakthrough DNA technologies will contribute to the development of sustainable crops.
- What are the major advancements in high-throughput phenotyping technologies.
- What are the greatest benefits of artificial intelligence and data sciences for plant breeding?
- How to unlock the genetic potential of plants to accelerate the development of resilient crops adapted to increased biotic and abiotic stresses?
- How to breed for better plant protein crops to support the protein transition?
- What are the latest developments in plant breeding of Vegetables and Field crops to adapt to the changing environments and (consumer) markets?
- What are sustainable traits and how to implement these in commercial varieties?
- How to speed up knowledge valorization from academic research in AgBio?
Join us in April in Amsterdam and meet your agri-food colleagues!
