The invention relates to the production of oligonucleotides, in particular targeting oligonucleotides or nucleic acid probes suitable for use, amongst others, in the field of nucleic acid detection. Benefits
Highly accurate amplification of probe mixtures is very beneficial for high throughput assays such as variation detection or genotyping. The invention produces high amounts of probe pools without changing their sequence composition or their respective ratios. KeyGene has proven that this method is capable of economically producing probe sets that can be successfully used in high multiplexed SNPSelect assays.
